It Is Colder Than It Looks

Iceland is a place of incredible wild beauty.  The island is a collection of black lava fields,  white snow, glaciers, and mountains.

There are almost no trees because when the Vikings arrived in 870 it was cold, so they burned all the trees for heat and the trees never grew back.

The only place I’ve ever been that was windier is Florida during hurricane Andrew.
